Statesville has joined forces with Mooresville to claim the No. 1 Micropolitan Area ranking by Site Selection Magazine six times since 2000.  Statesville is one of the few cities in the Carolinas with two connecting interstates.  I-77 runs north and south while I-40 runs east and west.  Additionally, I-85 is only thirty minutes away.  Recreation, fun and quality of life abound and Lake Norman is just south of Statesville.  The City is a very pro-business community with varied manufuacturers, service industries, retail and public service.
