The Narcotics Investigators specialize in investigating and apprehending NC Controlled Substances violators as well as conducting various vice/prostitution interdiction activities. These tasks often involve covert operations, sophisticated surveillance techniques, working with other agencies, executing dangerous search warrants, and many long hours of hard work. However, their efforts have made the City of Statesville a much safer place for all of us.
Selected members of the Patrol Division are chosen to serve on the Specialized Criminal Apprehension Team, in which they work directly with the Narcotics Investigators in all areas of the division. The invaluable training & experience the officer's gain is then shared with their squad upon their return.
