Youth Athletics
NFL Flag Football- NFL FLAG football leagues are offered to boys and girls ages 5-8. The program is held in the fall of the year and the cost is $10 for city residents and $15 for non-residents. For more information on this program, click here.
Youth Baseball- Youth baseball is offered for boys and girls ages 5-10 in the spring of each year. Leagues offered are T-ball (ages 5-6), Coaches pitch (ages7-8) and Pitching Machine (ages 9-10). Leagues typically play May through July. Girl's Youth Softball Program- Three leagues are offered: 10 and under, 12 and under, and 14 and under. Age cut-off is January 1st of current year. Registration is typically held in March with play beginning in late April for 10U and 12U. Play for 14U begins in June. Middle School Girl's Softball Program- This program is offered to any 7th and 8th grade girls (call for age cut-off requirements). Registration is typically held in January and play begins in March. Cost is $30 for all participants.
Basketball - Leagues are offered for boys and girls ages 5-18. Registration is typically held in October with practices and games beginning in December. Cost is $10 for city residents and $15 for non-residents.
Wrestling- The Youth Wrestling Program is open to youth between the ages 6-12 years. Registration is typically held in October, with the season running from December to February. Practices locations are: North Iredell High School, Statesville Sr. High School, South Iredell High School and Lakeshore Middle School. Cost is $10 for city residents and $15 for non-residents.
