Andrews Natural Area/ASMO Greenway
In 1999, Tom Andrews and family donated 8.85 acres of land along Sharpe's Creek to be preserved as a natural area for use by City residents. ASMO North Carolina Inc. donated money for construction of a Greenway linking Salisbury Road and Statesville Middle School. The project was completed in the fall of 2000.
Located at 433 South Race Street, this 7 acre area was donated to the City in 1993 by the Corbett Family for recreational purposes. This area is used as a passive recreational area and connects the greenway and MacAnderson Park to Statesville HIgh School.
