The fee for additional members only applies for individuals over 14 years of age. Children 13 and younger are free on annual family memberships.
Why do I need a Fitness Membership?
A fitness membership gives you access to our state-of-the-art fitness center with cardio equipment and weights. While you can come play basketball in the gymnasium with just a Rec ID card or participate in classes by registering, a membership is required for the fitness center and for the locker rooms.
Six-month, monthly and daily passes only offer access to the gymnasium and fitness center. Group fitness classes, climb time and gear, pool access, and supervised childcare are not included, but may be purchased separately. Children 13 & under are only free with annual family memberships.
Why should I buy an Annual Fitness Membership?
While there are daily, monthly, and six-month membership options, the annual membership is the best deal. Not only is it the cheapest option over the course of a year, it also gives you the most access to our facility. In addition to our fitness center, you will receive the following:

Option to purchase unlimited group fitness classes for a discounted rate - just $110 a year for first person; $55 a year for second person; third person is free!
These offers are exclusive to Annual Members. Group fitness classes and climbing gear are not included with an annual membership.
Who is considered a family?
A family includes two adults living in the same household and children for whom they are legally responsible or any combination of the above. Children 13 & under receive a free membership with the purchase of an annual family membership. A family membership must be purchased in order for children 13 & under to be free, even if there is only one adult on the membership. Children 14 to 17 may be added to a family membership for the appropriate fee. Children 18 to 25 may be added to the family membership for the appropriate fee if they are full time college students.
How do I know if I am considered a City of Statesville resident?
To be considered a Statesville City resident, you must live within the city limits of Statesville. If you pay City of Statesville taxes, you live within the city limits and are eligible for a resident rate. A Statesville address does not always indicate that you live within the city limits. All addresses will be verified when you register for a membership.
How do I sign up?
All you need to do is stop by our service desk at the front of the facility. You will have to fill out a registration form and pay for your membership. We accept cash and check. We will then issue membership cards for any individuals included on your membership. If signing up under a corporate account, you should bring employment verification (employee badge or check stub).

What is a Rec ID card?
A Rec ID Card is a card that allows use of the gymnasium only. Rec IDs are valid one year from the date of purchase and must be renewed annually. If you lose or damage your card in a way that it no longer functions, there will be a fee to replace your card. If you do not have your Rec ID to check into the gymnasium, you will need to pay a daily fee.
