Statesville City offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 2, 2012, in observance of New Year’s Day. There will be no garbage collection that day. The revised schedule for residential and commercial routes for the week of Jan. 2-6 is:
Residential routes: Monday routes will operate on a regular schedule; Tuesday & Wednesday routes will be collected on Wednesday; Thursday and Friday routes will be on their regular schedule.
Commercial businesses with roll-out toters: Monday and Tuesday routes will be collected on Tuesday; Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday routes will operate on their regular schedule.
Commercial businesses with dumpsters and bulk containers: Monday routes will be collected on Tuesday; Tuesday and Wednesday routes will be collected on Wednesday; Thursday and Friday routes will operate on their regular schedule.
