This lengthy investigation also resulted in the arrest of the former assistant manager of the Dairy Queen, Charlotte Lovelace, 30. She was charged with aid and abet armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery. She also remains in the Iredell County jail under a $300,000 secured bond.
The details of the crime are as follows: In the early morning hours of July 12th, 2010, an armed robbery was reported at the Dairy Queen located at 139 Turnersburg Hwy. Two males entered the business armed with handguns and forced employees to the floor at gunpoint. At which point they were restrained with ductape. The two suspects then fled the area on foot.
