The City of Statesville is divided into four areas for leaf collection. They are:
Area 1 covers the area south of Front St and west of Center St.
Area 2 covers the area south of Broad St and east of Center St.
Area 3 covers the area north of Broad St and east of Center St.
Area 4 covers the area north of Front St and west of Center St.
The current schedule for leaf collection is:
Week Beginning:
October 31 - Area I & II
November 7 - Area III & IV
November 21 - Area I & II
December 12 - Area III & IV
December 27 - Area I & II
January 9 - Area III & IV
January 23 - All Areas
***Weekly schedules are tentative and subject to change due to adverse weather conditions and volume of leaves per section. Please refer to the Time Warner Cable Government Channel 20 and the City of Statesville Website for updates to this schedule as the season progresses or the citizens may call 704-878-3415 for further information. Citizens will be notified by the automated phone notification system when we will be in the area.***
Collection Guidelines
Loose leaves should be piled behind the curb. Please do not pile leaves in the street, in drainage ditches or over water meters.
Do not park in front of leaf piles.
Leaves which contain gravel, limbs, glass, or other solid matter will not be collected.
