It’s been about four months since the city’s greenway system was damaged due to heavy rains and flooding, causing the trails and paths to be closed while repairs were being made.
Greenway Openings:
- Asmo link off Salisbury Rd.
- Newton Park path
- Soccer complex trail
- Mac Anderson Park
- Kimbrough Park
- Greenway that runs from Museum Rd. to the water plant
Greenway Closed:
- The greenway that runs from Free Nancy to Broad St. is under contract to be paved, so minimal repairs are being made. Paving should be completed by the end of the summer.
